MALS Elder Law: Family Law Legal Clinic for Seniors (60+)

Please join Memphis Area Legal Services for a free Family Law Legal Clinic for Seniors age 60 and older. 

A Memphis Area Legal Services’ attorney will present an Elder Law Legal Education Session followed by a Q&A session. Topics may include Estate Planning, Elder Abuse, Nursing Home Care, Social Security, Conservatorship, Eviction Prevention, Rent Disputes and more. This is an opportunity for seniors in the community to hear from an attorney regarding relevant legal matters.

The Elder Law Legal Education session will be held at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library from 10:00 AM - Noon in Meeting Room A.

Fabric Collage @ Levi

Come to our six-week Fabric Collage series hosted by Creative Aging at the Levi Library. Students will explore various fabric textures and patterns to repurpose them into a collage piece. They will also look at composition, contrast and movement in creating their pieces with these found objects.

Note: All students must register for the entire six-week session.  Pre-registration is required due to limited space. Registration will begin on February 13 and end on February 23. Customers who have already registered through Creative Aging CANNOT register again through the Memphis Public Library's website.
