Bartlett Public Library and Bartlett Parks and Recreation presents StoryWalk in the Park.
StoryWalk is an innovative and interactive way for readers of all ages to enjoy a story and the outdoors at the same time. Pages from a children’s picture book are displayed on display posts along a walking trail. As you stroll along the path, you are directed to the next page in the story. StoryWalk engages young readers and is an effective way to practice active reading skills.
Walk® in the Park will be set up temporarily from May 15th- June 30th, displaying Giraffes Can’t Dance. This brings the library outside the walls of our building. Extension activities help develop literacy skills and keep the families engaged.
Walk® in the Park is May 15th in coordination with Summer Reading Kickoff and Kids to Parks Day. Guided s will be offered from 10am- 11am with library staff.
