Event Details

Join comic book legend Gene Ha on Oct. 18 for a class about "How to Draw Anything." Gene will answer your questions about how to draw ANYTHING! People, buildings, cars, animals: what would you like to draw better? With a pencil, paper, the camera on a phone, and a few simple principles, Gene teaches young artists how to draw from their lives or from the faraway and the imaginary, emphasizing art as a process of observation, experiment and play.

Gene Ha is a New York Times bestselling comic book artist, and the winner of four Eisners, the comic book industry's top award, for his work on the series Top 10 with the legendary Alan Moore. A cover artist extraordinaire, Gene is also the writer-creator of the comic book Mae, which details the adventures of a young woman and her sister stuck in a realm of adventure and monsters.
