Come hear Donald Brooks Jones, Central High School class of 1972, discuss coming of age in a city polarized by the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  Don will explore a range of topics including the 1969 Black Monday protests, the Vietnam war and the draft, and a changing Memphis school system; all events that impacted his life and those of his contemporaries. These stories and more are part of his new book, Little Did I Know: The Coming of Age of a Black Boomer. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and to be signed by the author after the presentation.
